"Everything in Midnight Movies was hated by mainstream; Now everything in Midnight Movies is Hollywood and the mainstream, It's had a big impact in American humour."I think this is very relevant to my topic as he's telling us that especially early cult film which defiantly had the biggest impact on changing the humor in American culture, and even the sense of humour of people in western society. People don't find things funny unless they are even slightly surreal or twisted.
This is now American humor and thanks to 'Midnight Movies' a small collection of wacky, sick, strange but also humorous cult film. The shape of comedy has changed for everyone. Makes you wonder what we would be laughing at if it weren't for these films.
